Love And The Snow Poem by Joseph Blitch

Love And The Snow

The cycle of changing seasons; on it'll go;
Spring; Summer; Fall; Winter; may snow;
Snow; some people like a lot; others a tad;
To many it is a pleasure; others find it bad;

Even in lightest snow many flakes will fall;
In it children play endlessly and have a ball;
Snowflake after snowflake in winters storm;
From many a flake a snowperson takes form;

Shaping snow in three different size spheres;
Stacking up; adding twigs; lastly loud cheers;
The children determined it needs a playmate;
Two snow people; just what will be their fate?

With temperature not freezing they will melt;
Their evaporation will sincerely be heart felt;
Snows melting; more flakes the children add;
Much effort expended to keep from being sad;

Beyond hope performed each dismayed child;
All expended keeping their face with a smile;
Love takes the same care we need to realize;
To keep it from vanishing in ominous demise!

Tag: Love is like snowflakes given that it takes a lot of them to make a snow person and a lot of effort to keep it from vanishing.
