Paradoxical respiration
catches me off guard
and turns my logic upside down.
My left brain becomes my right brain
and vice versa.
I do mathematical equations
with water colors
painting my love by numbers,
and I sculpt with my protractor.
The power of your shadow supinates me,
and makes me less prone
to wander.
My paralyzed diaphragm causes labored breathing
confusing the innocent bystanders.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation fails
until you get on your knees
and seal youir lips to mine.
