Love At Last Or Toast Poem by Bryce Miller

Love At Last Or Toast

Today was the day that I fell in love,
with a girl that was truly stunning,
she must have been from above.

Her cute little smile,
the way that she talks.
Those eyes that twinkle like stars,
even the way she walks.

I love her so much,
I wish that she cared.
But she could never love me,
for my heart is teared.

When I walk the halls lonley and depressed,
I always see you there smiling.
Hoping for the best,
maybe she will talk to me.
Maybe she will care,
maybe she will mention my lovley-looking hair.

But sadly no,
she will walk right on past me.
Like I didn't exist,
or wasn't even there.
I feel so ashamed,
It's just not fair.

But as I am crying,
all alone in this empty classroom.
You walk in,
bend down and kiss me.
In my ear you whisper,
' I love you. '

So as you can see,
that day many years ago was the day that I fell in love,
with a girl that was truly stunning,
she is now my beautiful wife from above.

Simply superb! Simplicity is the beauty itself that has been proved. The poetry has an intense flow and rhythm of it's own. Thanks. Read my poem.
