I did not know we would have to walk alleys so dark
Groping for a door, groping for a light
Groping for diamonds lost
In the dark edges of the heart
Could we have walked apart the day we met
Could we have died together hand in hand
For I have ceased to live anymore,
For I dont remember what living is like
For I did not know those alleys so dark
For I did not know, love could be war
