Love Crack Poem by the Nickster

They say love is blind, but it's more than that: it's blind, it's deaf...
simply put: Love is a form of crack
It consumes, overtakes, and makes huge mistakes
forgets the Standard~the 'Must Have's' according to you.
Love justifies your reason to give in

Once blinded by love, it's hard to see or comprehend
but ironically very easy to pretend
pretend the relationship makes sense~if only to you
pretend you're right in what you say and do
pretend your decision doesn't offend your real friends
pretend the relationship should never end

They say love is blind, but it doesn't have to be
sometimes it's exactly what it should be: a pleasant action.
