Love In Childhood Poem by Neela Nath Das

Love In Childhood

Rating: 5.0

I go back to my childhood.
A vast yard appears in my eyes,
where sunlight is always generous.
The tip of every tall tree
gets the blessing of the morning Sun
and the last ray of the setting Sun.
There we can laugh at something trivial
and play whenever we like.
All love us and innocence fills
our lives without the tough touch
of experience which we acquire
but do not gather consciously.
The mirth and merriment enlighten
our soul in childhood.
We live in fun, under the rain
of innocence, love and ignorance.
All mornings become one,
all noons, afternoons, evenings
and nights turn into one...
They whisper in my ears- - -
We are with you as a single
universal picture,
never to be blurred
and faded under the
shades of Time.
we are your Love in childhood.
We are immortal.

Beautiful poem Neela... Very true said childhood is filled with innocent and its love is as pure as nature. Beautiful way you have compared nature and childhood. Beautiful lines...... They whisper in my ears- - - We are with you as a single universal picture, never to be blurred and faded under the shades of Time. we are your Love in childhood. We are immortal. Loved it.
