Love In Palm Poem by Kumarmani Mahakul

Love In Palm

Rating: 5.0

Oh Star! Where are you?
Sun is glazing
I am waiting below sky
I have opened my palm
To catch memory I wish
You fall, fall and fall
Fall down from far.

You fall soon with reflection
That I want to catch to shine
Below warmness of heart
I have kept you ever
With love of misty mind
Fall down in my palm
Oh stars! my dear you come.

Hopes end in prayers and prayers end efforts, efforts lead us to optimism, and optimism leads us to God, at the time of death we open our palm with the hopes of a star and die peacefully.

Beautifully written... we all want our share of twinkling stars tightly clenched in the fist never to let go of those little happiness. Loved reading it.10

Your poem reminds me of how powerless I feel when I try to catch a snowflake. It is only when I sit quiet that some of them may lay on my palm. Could it be the same with stars? Hahaha should I try it too? Does it matter so much the moment of catch or is it the time spent in waiting that may inflate the joy of touch? 18 Aug 2015 by Elena S(*_*) | Reply picture of Stella Armour xLovely imagery here, to open your hand and catch a memory from a falling star...wonderful! 21 Aug 2015 by Stella Armour | Reply picture of Sylvia Frances Chan xGreat imagery, Sir!
