Love Is Poem by Katty Livingston

Love Is

Rating: 5.0

Love is all giving,
And never getting back.
Love is getting lost,
And forgetting your way back.
Love is opening doors,
To let the cold air in.
Love is wanting more,
And drowning in your own sin.

Love is finding your way out,
And getting lost once more.
Love is everlasting silence,
That cuts me clear to the core.
Love is walking into fire-
You know we'll all be burned.
Love is making the same mistakes,
When you swear you've lived and learned.

Love is just a waste of time-
If time was money, she'd be broke.
Love is sinking even deeper,
Cause we never learned to float.
Love is going past the line,
And drawing a new one up ahead.
Love is seeing through new eyes-
Fiction words, but still well-read.

Love is falling all to pieces,
And healing, but with scars and tears.
Love is finding hidden strengths,
And conquering your biggest fears.
Love is seeing past what's rough,
You loved me at my very worst.
Love is always more than enough,
You caught me falling first.

Love is deadly,
Love is woe.
Love is something I don't know.
Love is faithful,
Love is true-
Love is all I want from you.
