Love Is A Delicate Thing Poem by Marcus McKinley

Love Is A Delicate Thing

Cherry dew drops spin my mind
Petaled snowflakes incite my soul
Windward glances by chance unwind
The woodwinds orchestral melody

It sings to me from sleeping hollows
Of days in daze a twig admired
A cherished trees dream of fruition
Roots unbuckled, Blossoms stirred
Flutes fall empty, spilled in verve
Arpeggios cleave new ignition
Smoldered heart wood, soon re-fired
Splintered juices flow new tomorrows
In tones colluded by a hearts desires

Cherry dew drops spin my mind
Passionate glances by chance find
A fragrant beauty, an old souls song
A petaled snowflake drifting along
