Love Is A Ocean Poem by Henrie Howells

Love Is A Ocean

Rating: 5.0

Happyness is like the sea
A sea that will be the end of me

You give it all every day
But happieness remains at bay

How I wish my feelings could just go away
But goodbye seems impossible to say

Holding on to the raft trying to stay afloat
Love is a useless boat!

The longer your on loves boat of life
Loves boat ends up being called your wife

You give up on all you could have done
Your hopes and dreams become as one
Then loves boat has finally won

Forgetting that you could swim back to bay
On the boat you will always stay

Too scared to take that leap into the sea
Linger on that choped down tree

You become so attached to that raft
Calling it your better half

When it breaks apart
Go back to the very start
Forgiving it with a broken heart

We dare not swim away
Because we've lost all sight of bay!
