Love Is Rare, But Never Fair Poem by Neo Live Free

Love Is Rare, But Never Fair

Is it because I am so rare
Lady, you give me such a stare,
And you blush like a red flare
Whenever I go all bare.

You watch me striding straight and tall
And smiling from every wall,
My face is what sells big and small
My voice sends people rock & roll.

When I play prince Hamlet
And die at the end of the ballet,
Women dropp down and turn violet
Tears smear their face smooth as velvet.

If I put my name in a poll
There is a stampede in the hall,
As women rush to punch on my roll
On the rest, it takes a heavy toll.

Men complain I am obnoxious
Never heard the word, does it means ferocious?
Why bother to be any anxious
Even if it means I am vicious

Old men say I am very rude
Because I make my own rule
I say, you’re missing the point dude
It’s all jealously in your mood.

My lady, think not I am unfair
And break hearts beyond repair
You believe I ride on my skin’s fair?
Hey, the magic is all in my charm and flair

So nestle my lady beneath my arm
My touch can summon every charm
I will keep you forever safe and warm
Far away from every harm.
