regal dame!
your mystery; eyes set
in kaleidoscope of some oriental lit
sunlight of love
sets my soul hither settled
in stoic contentedness of my onerous task-
not to err in sight, to a voyage of discovery.
deep into deep, far have the sails of my heart gone.
i traverse on, set to follow
the infinite rudder of my heartbeat,
fading and rising on the conflicting tempers
that beset my once famed repose. then milder waves,
woo my ship's bearings like your compass-ionate smile.
rough and tattered, past the surreal seas
i see arching before me the full circle
of the glorious sun-rising-
love is spherical like the earth.
that is the mystery of your eyes.
