Love Isn't Just Blind, Sometimes It Can Be Dumb Too Poem by Pavan Medheramitla

Love Isn't Just Blind, Sometimes It Can Be Dumb Too

It's a usual busy day
And it's a dry heated up noon
It's a burning summer by the way
Hopes too dried up about monsoon

There's a girl walking without a flip flop
Carrying a basket full of seasonal flowers
As she is passing in front of a sweet shop
Her taste buds were aroused by those ambrosial flavors

She counted the bucks in her money vault
But she's not sure whether that's sufficient
She asked the vendor for a cheapest doughnut
Even after repeated enquiry the vendor is silent

She can't see
But she can speak and hear
He can see
But he can't speak but hear

He placed the costliest doughnut in her hand
But when she tried to pay he gently rejected
Then she insisted him to accept a rose garland
And everyday the sweet saga has repeated

God has brought them together with love spell
Their love story shall remain one of it's kind
Soon they announced their bond with a wedding bell
Someone had said it correct that Love is blind
