Love Isn'T Strong Enough Poem by Grey Graham

Love Isn'T Strong Enough

I sit here, trying to hold onto the feelings I had that came with that first glance; the first touch; the first kiss.
I recall an excitement resembling that of a child on Christmas morning; the feeling of being truly content; my soul being totally wrapped up in the moment with joy and all worries diminished.
But those feelings are now bringing me pain. Pain which is slowly consuming me and very powerful in destroying any spirit I once had.
With pain, anger and hate walk hand in hand. If I had known the first glance, the first touch, the first kiss were to be the last, I would have made them last forever.
