Love Leaving Poem by Lora Seger

Love Leaving

Rating: 5.0

love leaves me
love goes by
yet i'm sitting here
watching it go by
to weak to say anything
to weak to stop it
yet not weak enough
to not feel what's actually passing me by
the warmth, the joy
all gone now
left in the cold, darkness
drowning myself out now
the numbness entering myself now
there's not much difference
but there's no going back now
and as i sigh
and as i cry
i accept my fate
upfront and in person
so now i die
without a sigh or a cry left
i die
i die this lonely death of mine

I can relate to this, doesn't feel to good. Another great poem. -Kylie M. Lynch
