Love Let Me Live Poem by Clarice McClain

Why God let me live a little longer,
in my heart I know why.
He let me know that life and death, has a greater meaning that lies beyond the sky.
My sickness taught me how to suffer, and constantly call upon his name.
Today my prayers have been answered and because of him I've changed.
For my life outside the body of Christ, could have taken me to my grave.
But that wasn't his plan for me or why my life he saved.
My life today is a living testimony of a God who can wipe away all tears.
