Love Letters
Tied with a ribbon
And stored away
Ready to read again
Another day.
Just words on paper
Of a pastel blue
Sweet whispered words
Of a love so true.
Kept in a box
For so many years
To open and read
With a flood of tears.
Sweet love letters written
From across the sea
Your words so tender
Just meant for me.
