Love Monster Poem by Dennis Mzwakhe Pitso

Love Monster

I tune myself on like a shortwave; appreciate my ballad
My affection is like a soft sanity texture, taste it like an italian salad
Language foreign, it crossed her ears like a train whistle
Reality blurry like she read my emotions from a scrambled epistle
Truth a needle that pierced thru her structured soul
Darkness transparent as I passed thru her feelings & I left them like an ant's hole
They treat me like war, reverse the word I'm raw like a crude oil
She calls me a bacteria because I transformed her and she sworn dat I popped from soil
It began by being breathless and ended by being heartless
With my fictional words I cursed a sentiment of a goddess
I kept roses to myself and served her lawn weed so that she can smoke off the pain
The series continues because its a 'saw' movie & I crossed the lane
I'm caged in like I'm a love monster
My heart has to glow like a midnight star
