Your love is evident
ever so clear
holding me close
the physical distance
doesn't affect me
but while your love
fills my head
another fills my heart
and though that love
taken into my heart
feels dry and cracked
my own which I pour out
keeps it whole and rich
I know it is ever so foolish
to be so blind
as to not allow
your eternal love
to replace what had once lived
I find myself trapped
in the fact that
when I may not recieve
I must always give
perpetually
