Steadfast as the Bible says...
Are the ways in which we live each day
In a world of greed and sin
And the Idols-worldly way;
I deal with it ever constantly...
Have no need of designer-this or that- -
Have no need to put on airs of opulence
No, it is about God, when i am up to bat;
Learned these lessons a long time ago...
When one is so full of themselves-it wreaks
It brings nothing to us but disfavor and lonliness
Our daily bread, instead of a thousand count sheets;
It is a pair of Walmart sandals, i am thankful for
Not one for designer: Jimi Choo
No pool boy-or champagne to drink
No wealthy banker to woo;
My religion is my God
Who's light is with me forever
My riches are my family, friends and God
Who will leave me never;
They keep me warm on ever so cold nights
They cheer me on sorrow-filled days
Such a gift of kind- from the bible, i find
Come to those who change their sinning worldly ways;
