Love Of Those Who Are Gone Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Love Of Those Who Are Gone

Listening to heart beats from beyond, knowing they are
coming from the love of those who were so close to me
in life.

Reaching out, calming me with their own hearts, keeping
me steady and helping to rise above the stress of life.

Rushing to my aid, not wanting life to be cut short now
that I have been given the gift of living once again.

Staying in touch with them through death and it's curtains
between us and heaven.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This poem is truly an act of faith, something I have noticed in others you've written. What impresses me is the absence of any reaching for effects, or expressing over confidence in this faith, or taking the blessings for granted. What I; m trying to say is that there is both gratitude and humility in this poem. And that makes the sentiments it expresse even more precious. Belief doesn't take hold of me, I can; t make such an act of faith - it wouldn't be honest. I admit that just to show you my appreciation of the faith you display is genuine. And it connects you in a very spiritual way to those you loved on earth and still love in heaven.
