Love On Fire (Ro.9: 16}

O my God for an angle’s voice
My heartfelt song to sing
What melody could bear my choice?
Of words before my King

No harp or cymbal could compete
No trumpet could compare
Sitting beside my Saviour’s feet
Your perfect love to share

Jesus, Jesus would clear as gold
My grateful heart would cry
Though all creation would love unfold
For You my God on high

My heart would glow my soul ignite
Presenting You my praise
And o my God what sheer delight
With such a voice to raise

Yet You alone my soul can see
Open, my heart lays bare
While silently this harmony
I’ve humbly come to share

Hear the highs Lord hear the lows
My sweet refrain of love
Accept this gift my heart bestows
To You my God above

If all the world my song could hear
And feel the same as me
How many hearts would fill with cheer?
And with such joy be free

O Lord my God I love You dear
You’ve heard my soul proclaim
You’ve heard your servant standing here
With all my heart aflame
