Love’s a day, a way and a say
Love means
Together today we stay
Love means
Tomorrow we stay away

How’s the heart praise these days
Then whose heart prays these days
These questions that vanish in the haze
Of other things
That swim, swing and sway

Sorry seems to be the frequent word
The frequent word never to be heard
Yet the eyes that speak, speak that:
Such is love;
It wears that good a mask

What a feeling when there’s no one to ask
And no one to answer;
And in your feelings you bask

Then your screen takes it all back
Then think maybe I’m wrong after all
But who’s going to see what you lack
Like you know what love is:
Love is the fall of the soul in someone else’s control
