Love's Hiatus Poem by Suraj Samtani

Love's Hiatus

What a silly girl you were,

You thought my love was for her.

Now you realise.

Alas. you've become wise.

I loved your this innocence,

Coupled with that ignorance.

But now its all over,

And I'm still very sober.

One day if we meet,

I hope we still find our feet.

Like humans we'll talk,

Like couples we'll walk.

We'll reignite our passion of the past, &

Emerge ourselves in the sea of love, that is oh-so-vast.

Counting each and every moment till then,

I keep my hopes till when

We reunite as one, &

All we can ever have is just fun.
