Love's Lovely Feet -Baby's First Steps! Poem by Dr John Celes

What nimble feet, tiny and warm,
My baby's, I hold in my hands!
They want to walk without much harm,
On God-made earthly lands, and sands.

I feel the haste within those feet,
To walk and run upon the earth;
What beauty wears the frame so neat,
That grows as per His will since birth!

What happiness could fill the heart,
When feet touch earth first time to stand!
God hands over this pleasant art,
To every child He makes by Hand.

When parents feel so happy when
Their child first starts to walk and run,
How much more joy resounds heaven,
When Will of God steps out for fun!

The God who makes each child with love,
Protects and guides it for life-time;
Yet, man forgets love from above,
When on his own and changing clime!
