Love's Name Poem by Nakesha Banks

Love's Name

If love had a name it would be that of you,
Beautiful words of folly and never thinking things through.
If love had a name it would be that of you,
Lovely flowers of lies while under confusion they bloom.
If love had a name it would be that of you,
the every so often 'baby' that keeps me clinging to you.
If love had a name it would be that of you,
Like the joyful screams from a roller coaster and by the end I am through.
If love had a name it would be that of you,
Like going out drinking all night then the next day thinking 'what did I do'?
If love had a name I swear it would be yours,
You have my all right now till I can even the scores.
If REAL LOVE had a name it could never be that of you,
Even though I could never see my self alone with any one but you,
I know I Have to.
