Love's Unanswered Questions Poem by Joshua Amburn

Love's Unanswered Questions

Rating: 2.7

How much truth is in love
When the words fall to the floor?
Is it an empty emotion
An illusion of something more?

How can we posess something
So eternal and right?
When all we know selfishness,
emptiness, and spite.

Is there an alterior motive
In this emotion that we claim?
Is it evil deeds disguised as good
Called by another name?

So when you think she loves you
And shes the perfect blessing
Ask yourself all these things
Love's unanswered questions.
