Love Sonnet 122: 'How Soon Can You Stop Walking In My Dreams'

How soon can you stop walking in my dreams,
Though there you lavish me with everything,
In dreams that make real what only seems,
Awake a pauper, but in sleep a king;
With kingdom on the clouds that truly boasts
Of line, dynastic, for succeeding crowns,
To reign high and great, in the world, the most,
With court majestic and complete with clowns;
Yet, grace my world by being extant be,
Break the night, make me live during the day,
Take me outside the world of fantasy,
And give substance to love and make it stay;
.....All comforts of the night, in dreams that stalk,
.....I'll give up for you, in a morning walk.
