Love Story Poem by Danny Smith

So i sit here trying to put the pieces of my heart back together
replaying the day we met over and over in my head.
wondering why our love never lasted. Thinking if you ever really loved me or did i ever really love you.

The tears roll down my check realizing that we can never be together like we always planned.
Now knowing our fairy tale perfect love was only a lie.
Realizing that our love wasnt strong enough to hold both of us.
A part of me and a part of you were quickly falling apart.
Our little love story was now turning into a horror story
It wasnt love that we had for each other it was hate.

A hate so strong that we couldnt stand each other

So i sit here watchign the days roll by without you by my side thinking that maybe just maybe its for the Best.
