Love That Never Was Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Love That Never Was

Rating: 5.0

I Won't Bother Anymore
A bother is all I am
I won't care anymore
Or recall you again
I won't write
Another letter unanswered
I won't dream
Or hope
Or take any chances
I won't entertain thoughts
Of fated romances
I just wrote to say goodbye
And to wish you well
There was more
But I can't spell it out for you
I'll just disappear from view
Become unknown by you
Drown in the blue
Knowing full well
You were someone to me
I understand I've been nothing to you
