Love - Written When I Was Sixteen Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

Love - Written When I Was Sixteen

Love is like music so soft and so sweet
making hearts kiss each time that they meet.
Like flowers blooming in early spring,
love makes the whole world want to sing.
It brings happiness to both young and old,
it's the author of many stories, yet to be told.
It can make a man strong, it can make a man weak,
it can conquer the soul as does life those who seek.
