I want to love you
not create love for you
I want to love everything that is you
and the traits that make you an individual
I want to love you through
anger, happiness, sadness, and excitement
and be so annoyed by your constant presence
that I crave it tirelessly it when it is gone
I want to hold you ceaselessly
so that our hearts never decay
and laugh when it downpours
because we know together nothing
can break our passionate bond
So honey, don’t ask if you can
make love to me – the real question is
can you love me too?
