Love You Poem by Rosemary Monahan

Love You

I love you for the man that you are
Strong yet gentle, kind and warm.
I love you for your sense of humor
Making others laugh when they feel down.
I love you for being so strong
knowing when to stand your ground.
I love you when you get all teary-eyed
Not afraid to show a man can cry.
I love you for your willingness
Helping others when they need a hand.
I love you for your sincerity
Doing what you feel to be rightfully true.
I love you for all of what you are
For all the things that make you, YOU.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this again wishing for someone who was everything I wanted. I wrote this about 10 years too early as I met the most exciting man ever, my husband, Roger. Here's to you, darling...
