And so it's been a while,
I wish my feelings were gone,
My attempts were futile,
I guess you thought it was wrong.

I believed that you were everything,
I saw the world in your eyes,
Now I have nothing,
Love was my demise.

If only you felt what I felt,
We could've been Bonnie and Clyde,
A shattering blow to my heart you dealt,
You don't know how hard I've tried.

So here I am,
Among those who are loveless,
Trying not to give a damn,
Wondering how to deal with this.
