Lovelorn Tortured Heart Poem by Samantha Myers

Lovelorn Tortured Heart

He inspired me to feel such pain so deep an anguish it has clutched my soul ever so tightly. Oh my love please! ... please! I beg you! On my knees here before you I plead let go! Let me go.
I write these words in the darkness of my room. Only singular shining white lamplight illuminating secrets of this bloody lovelorn heart.
When you speak I hear naught but your voice alone. Yet you leave me torn in half.

Do you know the pain you instill in my core? The kind that makes on gasp for breath and tell the enemy what they want to know just to stop the torture devices mid-air before they touch the body once more, thus actions branding thee a traitor unheard, not understood.

Oh where be the voice echoing, blasting the mountains, shattering the glass windows of the cabins sitting so quietly amidst the trees?

I’m trying hard to believe, to see through your eyes. I see clearly through your eyes. How about you? Can you see through mine? I know you can, I know you have. You have spoken words into my soul, yes my soul. You knew just what to say. I don’t remember if I showed it but I felt it, I know it. My secret letters from my secret heart.
