Lovely Darkness Poem by Ember Stardust

Lovely Darkness

Rating: 5.0

I sit here alone in a dark isolated room
feeling cold and alone in this abandond old tomb
My eyes are red, puffy, and sore
all the pain and sorrow i feel, i cant take it anymore
The shadows awaken and call for me
I scream and shout hoping they'll leave
But it is no use, for theres nothing I can do
I try to run but im frozen, I cannot move
I beg for forgiveness to the one who trapped me
I shout it out hoping he will here my plea
To free me is all I ask of him
but what he wants from me
I musn't give in
He banishes the shadows and comes to my aid
And I fall into his arms, sensible me starts to fade
His touch feels electric yet cold all the sudden
We look back to see that the shadows are comin
I hold his cold hand and run to are fate
Then he smiles and stops face filled with nothing but hate
I gasp as he pulls out an athame
I run and hide as I hear him calling my name
He has got what he wanted I gave him my heart
He tricked me to love him then shot me with a dart
As I awaite my death, he comes near
I look up at him showing no fear
He smiles sadly then collapses onto the floor
I run to him wondering who im fighting for
I kiss him goodbye as our lives start to fade
And we plunged into darkness as night came to day.
