Lover's Avenue
Windows of love,
You are the band of my joy!
As i walk along Lover's Avenue;
Trying to meet the sunshine ahead of me.
Band, brand!
It doesn't matter;
Slippery when met and, lovely when dry!
Even if you are stranger.
Lover's Avenue,
My love is always at hand;
But, go and wash yourself in the pool of peace and,
Let me have a place in your heart.
