Lovers Poem by Terri Ann Stone

Lovers

Alias, a day for beginnings,
begin it with a cut.
Cutting through the dread,
dread no more soul extraction to
edify plenty of life to shoo away the fear.
Fearing that the guttural
grabbing of feelings may not harm
harmful soul riding integration.
Integrating of justification
Justice’s keeper
keeping its watch over love’s
lover with all its might.
Mighty is the feeling fleeing into the night.
Nightly dreams oppress the
oppressor as he watches closely at the pulsating
prisms of light as lovers are quaking through the
quakes. Having flowing Rivers
Revive the pain inside soothed
slowly by the tedious
tended love that was usurped
under the lustrous vines.
Vineyards of life shedding water
watering the tendrils of life waiting for the xenia.
Xenia that would only come to one who’s yearning,
yields to the deepest release of feelings that reaches out zealously to the
zenith that must be held onto.
