Loves Lost Delicate Stem Wine Glasses Poem by Terence George Craddock

Loves Lost Delicate Stem Wine Glasses

Rating: 5.0

write beautiful poignant lines
earthed in objects triggering memories
feel touch smell perfume traces

beauty sadness
locked within memory
encased objects

the beloved she gone
yet still remembered
in love touched objects

once held in the hand
of she who is loved
passionately beyond life

in precious memories
bound in laughter twinkling
sparkling music of her soul

the bread of her past
broken life leaving
her lover desolate dead

yet her ladies fingers
once touched this glass
he still holds her in his heart

he was daily blessed
by her hands her eyes
his heart is still entombed

in beloved her
still captivating
beautiful and

wise captivated in blessing
of two filigree delicately
interwoven lives

desolate heart haunts mind deaf echoes
missing meeting of two hearts two minds
death has torn apart two interwoven lives
