Loving You Every Day Poem by David Harris

Loving You Every Day

If you go away I'd miss you,
and wait again until
we'll meet up again one day.
Your essence will fill our home,
especially when evening calls
and the nights get so lonely.

Every room will hold your perfume
and a vision of you will appear
as all the lights go dim.
Our love won't diminish
even though you'll be far away
and I'll still go on loving you every day.

Broken hearts they say sometimes mend,
but mine will never until the end.
You'll still be part of my life
even though you may be far away,
and I'll still go on loving you every day.

Ours was a once in a lifetime thing
and when the evening sunset calls
I will again hear you call my name.
You may have left me lonely
and may be so far away,
but I'll still go on loving you each day.

Hearts like ours will never part
come sunshine, wind and rain.
You'll still be with me
no matter how much the pain,
for I'll still go on loving you
until the good lord takes me away.
