Lucifer Poem by jordan kelter

Lucifer

Oh thee Lucifer my morning star
each new dawn you bear, i but stare in awe
for you precede the sun, for an hour than fall
Back in my thoughts, where you know you belong
Counting each brick on my subconscious wall
slipping through cracks, of myself i am apalled
For i am the light bearer on which each moring is called
for i am Lucifer, the brightest star of them all
For i am he but he is not me
for it is i who seals every crack in the wall
