Luck

Walked out the door, found a penny
Drove and got every green light
Parked in the front with no problem
Everything seems to go right.
Walked out the door into puddles
Ran to the stop, missed the bus
Waited while rain came a pouring
Everythings done with a fuss.

poet Robert Browning

After
by Robert Browning

Take the cloak from his face, and at first
Let the corpse do its worst!

How he lies in his rights of a man!
Death has done all death can.
