Ludicrous Vanity Poem by shirin sheikhi

Ludicrous Vanity

Rating: 5.0

Admittedly encircled
By His might
Yet we appeal
To hubris and pride

He dotes on us
Despite our disgrace, vice
Yet we cling
To revenge and malice

yes, , a very subtle satire on 'vanity' vanity is a vice, but at the same time it says how difficult it is to come out of this vice, , we are 'encircled' and it has 'might' power, , one who 'dotes' naturally 'clings'...it is a riddlic circle..
