Lunasis Poem by Gagan Ahuja

Lunasis

Another Shakespeare
killed in war!
Psychosis, as we know the word is
is yet an uncommon word
The substance, the form and style
mine essence could have been wrong all the while!
Your true love is
Louis the longshanks of literature
English defined from the red dawn
is the Halloween of bewilder
We are now, world of mosaic
Lucipher the evil will write prosaic
Lunatic Louis salt of black
this be bequeath of an asylum mosaic

bemuse let the Cupid now descend
upon the earth in the womb of Venus
Cleopatra the Queen of Caesar
Thy art the mortis of rigor

Those Kings! who die hard
These Queens, who evil sly
