Lust Poem by Tania Montgomery

Lust

my soul is on fire when I lie with you
my heart is aflame with desire that's new
my need for this moment to stay forever
my longing never fading now or ever

as I love you like a molten eruption
that overflows with an unquenchable thirst
I can feel so much more than pure loving
it's like fireworks, or super nova's that burst

treasured moments are kept safe in our hearts
the journey of love can be cruel or be kind
but the lust that lives on forever
is the one that's so hard to find

temptation can sometimes get in the way
though destiny is meant to be free will
no love, no lust, no peace of mind I say
breathes down a narrow path that's still

as long as we keep on loving
there's no need to question why dear
would we have a need to look yonder
when we have all we need right here!
