Lying In Blank Pages Poem by Jessie Jett

Lying In Blank Pages

Rating: 5.0

What to say, what to say
lost with words
like every given day.
Words to you...
Unspoken, unknown.
Can't stop, won't stop,
thinking on the way home.

Blank pages, empty mind.
Thougts of him come one at a time.
Almost gone,
these pages rot.
Thoughts of him come tied in a knot.

These fallin years,
they go so quickly.
Now, just dragging by,
A life- just filled
Then stopped- still wondering why,

No suddenties, just casualties.
Not warning, it's just.
A life- it's nothing.
To try, I must.

My truth use to hide,
Hide in these pages.
Now, unsteady hand,
hesitation..
This could take ages.

One step, Two steps
Three steps, four.
Taking a step back,
realizing no more.
