'M' Poem by Quenten McClellan

'M'

A cool summers day i held you in my arms,
the wind blew lightly and sang a little song
joy filed my heart but then you were gone,
i looked over my shoulder for the last time
as you drove away
i remember watching as i wished you could stay
i try to remember your smile and the way your eyes crinkle when you do
but then it slips away and i lie all alone
wishing i could pick up the phone but it all comes back,
i see your smile and your little tattoo, i hear the way you
laugh as you call me a dork
and as that little blue tear runs down my cheek
the whole world seems a little less bleak!
