M.G. Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

M.G.

‘M.G.’ to me is not a Sports Car
To drive in around the country lanes,
But is Myasthenia Gravis ~
A Muscle Disease with not much pain.

‘M.G.’ is also a type of Jam,
Made by my brother-in-law in the States,
I wish that I could have an encore,
‘Mango Ginger Vanilla Bean’ Jam ~ on my plate.

But I will have to wait a while,
To savour that jam some more,
I’m told some is on its way,
To delight my bread for sure.

I enjoy these small pleasures
As day-to-day I live,
Savouring each moment and wondrous tastes,
That G-D to me dost give.

I do not ask for much,
As I continue to survive,
Just a Life ~ Free from pain,
And stability inside.
