Madness Poem by Paula Robinson

Madness

Rating: 4.0

A screaming head, without an ill
No wonder cure or miracle pill
For the disease is all in the mind
Shadows beckon you to find,

Darkness looming close at hand
Sanities timer out of sand
Silent voices in your head
Noise enough to wake the dead

Manic laughter, desperate cry
Whispered wants, beg to die
Replaying conversations had
No ticket needed, driven mad
