Magic Words
Those magic words were just spoken to me
Words that bring me to my knees
With a slight Jogjakartan accent
The refined nature of the Javan people
There is a knowing here
When words can lift up one's heart
Only when someone speaks to me this way
Is my faith in humanity consolidated
These words are like choirs of angels
Never were more joyous things said
'Would you like a free coffee sir? '
